Sally Huang-Nissen is a human development specialist, consultant, trainer and author of Dialogue Groups: A Practical Guide to Facilitate Diversity Conversation. Her educational philosophy is based on the belief that individuals can be encouraged to increase self-knowledge, self-empowerment and develop effective communication and interpersonal skills to achieve satisfying lives. Drawing from her bi-cultural life and professional experiences, Sally provides consulting and training services to individuals, organizations, and non-profit foundations nationally and internationally. Her services include training workshops, strategic retreats and individual coaching on intercultural communication, diversity, dialogue and Asian career/leadership development.

Ms. Huang-Nissen is an adjunct professor at the School of Management; John F. Kennedy University and a faculty member of Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics (LEAP). She received her B. S. degree in Business Education from Oregon State University and M. A. in Counseling Psychology with special emphasis on intercultural issues and human development from San Jose State University.

Born and reared in China, Sally is bi-lingual and bi-literate, and she is dedicated to promoting intercultural effectiveness.
